Portrait Photography - Creating a Blurry Sandwich

If you’ve trained with me before you’ve definitely heard me talk about the “Blurry Sandwich”.  I’m in the park again with a group of students. When most people would think of using the beautiful Cherry Blossom tree as the setting for their subject, I’m showing how you can use simple shrubbery (I think they might actually be weeds) to create a great shot by using this blurry sandwich technique.
